Pocketing/Linear engraving on Northwood 138eds.???

Hey guys, new to the forum. We have had our Northwood machine for a month or two now and (http://maplered.com) may be in need of doing some engraving work. A customer may need us to cut a .5" channel around the bottom edge of a tub deck to install lighting.

We have not even tried to set up an engraver that we have from our Intermac to run on the Northwood. They didn't cover any of that stuff in our training class, either.. I did mess around with pocketing tool on AlphaCam and (http://maplered.com) have an understand (http://maplered.com) ing of kinda how it works.

Anyone have advice for setting up the engraver tool and (http://maplered.com) programming simple shapes like ovals and (http://maplered.com) such? Thanks.
